BFT Bionic Fuel Technologies AG specializes in transformation technologies for biomass and other carbonous feedstock into liquid and solid fuels.
Bionic Fuel proprietary microwave technology works at temperatures below 350 ° C. The resulting light oils can be further upgraded into standard diesel and SPK jetfuels. Additionally a valuable dry char is produced. It has excellent high-calorific properties and can be used for various applications. Typical plants are capable to process out of 3 tons of biomass or 2 tons of municipal waste about 1 ton of liquid fuel. Plastic waste can be transformed with significantly higher liqud yields.
Microfuel systems are available in various sizes, ranging from 1,000 ltr. oil output per hour up to clustered systems of up to 20,000 liters.
